Air valve location on pipeline:
– Long horizontal pipelines at intermediate positions.
– Long ascent & descent slope of pipeline.
– Increasing change on down slope of pipeline.
– Decreasing change in up-slope of pipeline.

  • Fields of application: Water treatment, Water distribution, pumping stations, Powerplants and Industrial etc.,
  • Single piece bonnet and body made of Ductile Cast Iron EN-GJS 400-15 (GGG-40), inner parts are made of stainless steel and float is made of stainless steel 1.4571, with flange connection to EN 1092-2 / IS1538.
  • Internally and externally epoxy powder coating.
  • Epoxy coating is food grade approved.
  • Special version

Product Features:

  • Single chamber triple function air valve in compact design with less parts type ensuring easy assembly and low space requirements; highly reliable function and zero maintenance.
  • Tamper resistant due to bonnet design.
  • Economic solution for triple functions:
    – Discharge of air in high volume in the pipeline to atmosphere during pipe filling.
    – Intake of air in high volume into the pipeline during pipeline emptying.
    – Discharge of low volumes of air preventing them from accumulating and form “air-pockets” during pipeline operation.
  • Due to internal flow area and parts design valve Can handle high air flow capacity during filling & drawing of pipeline.
  • All paths are designed to make it corrosion proof & to ensure longer life cycle of the valve.
  • With special arrangement fourth function can be added: For Anti-surge application.
    – Limiting of the air flow velocity during discharge when uncontrolled or high velocity pipeline filling. This causes an aircushion in the pipeline, thus lowering the approach velocity of water running, reducing the risk of surge.
